Free webinars on utilizing credit and financing options to close technology sales deals and strategies for developing and compensating a sales force are available in February from CompTIA , the leading trade association for the world’s information technology (IT) industry.
On Thursday, Feb. 11, CompTIA presents “Utilizing Credit to Close Business: What is Available to Help?” at 1 p.m. CST. The webinar will offer tips for technology reseller and solution provider businesses on how they can best work with their vendors to find creative ways to provide credit and financing that can be passed on to customers to increase sales.
Michael J. Marcolina, national sales director, GE Capital, and John J. Critelli, senior vice president, GE Capital, will discuss how good three-way communication between business partners helps build trust on all levels and encourages thinking about your business in a different way.
Also this month CompTIA will offer “Building a More Effective Sales Force – A Reseller Tells His Story” at 1 p.m. CST Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Larry Andrus, chief executive officer of Trivalent Group, a leader in technology and communications services headquartered in Grandville, Mich., will offer insights on how he took six companies and rolled them into a single, cohesive organization that has realized uninterrupted profits for five years. Andrus will share his methods for blending different companies and compensating and motivating the sales force. He’ll also discuss best practices employed to restructure the sales organization and revenue model.
Both CompTIA webinars are free but registration is required. For more information, visit http://www.comptia.org/events/webinars/upcoming.aspx.
